This weekend, on July 23, the third round of the Latvian-Lithuanian rallycross championship will take place in Laitse Rally Park, Estonia. The championship will visit one of the most popular rallycross tracks of the neighboring country for the first time. Racng about 60 drivers from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
Jānis Bergs, rallycross competition organizer: "Each season we try to offer drivers new opportunities, learn new tracks. This year we have chosen a track in Estonia where we have not held a competition so far. Laitse is one of the most sought-after rallycross tracks in the neighboring country, so drivers of the Latvian-Lithuanian rallycross championship had also shown interest in it. The track configuration and terrain are technically challenging, drivers will have the opportunity to show the skills they have learned over the years to fight for the top places in this round. Laitse is designed so that it is convenient for spectators to watch the competition as well, the stands are located in an area from which you can see the entire track!"
The participants of the championship have completed two rounds of the competition at the legendary Bikernieki track, which means that the real battles for the points of the season have begun. The first two races have produced a variety of surprises in the leading positions, suggesting that this round will be no exception as everyone is fighting for the championship this season.
